Pasco police chief to talk at quality society event

Pasco police Chief Bob Metzger will talk about the passion, pride and service of his officers at a meeting of the Tri-City area section of the American Society for Quality.

The department has been working on expanding crisis intervention training to more officers, obtaining state accreditation and improving communication by using social media, including Facebook.

The meeting, open to the public, is May 10 at the Shilo Inn, Richland. Those who want to attend the presentation at 6:45 p.m. will be charged $5. Those who want to have a buffet dinner, with networking starting at 5:30 p.m., will pay $25.
