Kennewick man injured in crash east of Pasco

A Kennewick man was injured in a three-car crash on Highway 12 on Friday afternoon while a 1-year-old escaped injury.

Abdirazak Jamma, 25, of Kennewick, was driving a Toyota Camry toward Pasco about three miles east of the city at 2:36 p.m., according to the Washington State Patrol.

His car ran into a pickup driven by Patricia Maciel, 34, of Prosser, after the third car involved, a Ford Explorer driven by Delila Hollowayt, 18, of Weston, Oregon, slowed for traffic, according to police reports.

Jamma’s car then hit Hollowayt’s car, also, according to police reports. All three cars were heading west.

Isman Ali, 21, of Kennewick, a passenger in Jamma’s car, was taken to Lourdes Medical Center in Pasco for treatment. No one else was injured, including the child riding in Maciel’s pickup.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
