Man dies at Kennewick shooting range

A man died Friday of a self-inflicted gunshot wound at a Kennewick shooting range, according to Kennewick police reports.

The man, described as middle aged, shot himself at 11:39 a.m. in the shooting range area of Hole in the Wall at 7509 W. Deschutes Ave., according to police reports. It appeared to be a suicide rather than an accidental shooting, according to police.

They are working with the Benton County Coroner’s Office to notify the man’s family. His name has not been released.
