Teen causes fire at West Richland Golf Course

A teen is responsible for a fire that burned vegetation and destroyed a portable toilet at the West Richland Golf Course late Tuesday.

Firefighters with Benton Fire District 4 put out the blaze near the seventh hole. Damage was minimal, a release said.

The teen confessed to starting the fire to West Richland police officers.
