First deadline for Tri-City property taxes nears

Benton and Franklin county property owners have until May 2 to pay the first half of property taxes due for 2016.

Benton County property taxes may be paid at the treasurer’s office at the Prosser courthouse, 620 Market St., or at the Kennewick annex, 5600 W. Canal Drive, Suit A.

Franklin County property taxes may be paid at the treasurer’s office at the Pasco courthouse, 1016 N. Fourth Ave., Ste A 203.

All three locations have payment boxes.
