Meals on Wheels awarded $2,500 grant from Subaru sales

The Mid-Columbia Meals on Wheels received a $2,500 “Share the Love” grant on behalf of Subaru of America for its participation in the company’s annual “Share the Love” event.

For every vehicle sold or leased between Nov. 19, 2015, and Jan. 2, 2016, Subaru donated $250 to the customer’s choice of charity.

Mid-Columbia Meals on Wheels partnered with McCurley Subaru during the 2015 holiday season to raise money and awareness of senior hunger in the Tri-Cities. McCurley Subaru salesmen took turns delivering meals almost every day in the month of December.
