Richland man injured in crash near Selah
A Richland man was injured Thursday when the Jeep Cherokee he was driving ran into the back of a semi-truck, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Brandon Marcear, 24, of Richland, was driving north on Interstate 82 about nine miles north of Selah when his Jeep hit the semi, which also was traveling north, at 5:27 p.m, the state patrol said.
Marcear was taken to Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital. The driver of the semi, Ismael Marquez, 57, of Milton-Freewater, was not hurt.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
