A pipeline break on Edison Street has interrupted service to 3,500 Kennewick Irrigation District customers.

About 3,500 Kennewick Irrigation District customers are without water after a water pipeline along Edison Street in Kennewick broke.

The pipe, which is nearly 70 years old, was repaired late Thursday night. However, materials used in the repairs will need to fully dry before the pipe is used.

Water is expected to be available again on Monday, according to KID.
