Spanish educational workshops planned this month in Pasco
The Tri-Cities Latino Community Network, a partnership of Mid-Columbia Libraries and the Tri-Cities Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, plan a series of Spanish language educational workshops from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on April 9, 16 and 23 at the Pasco branch.
The event culminates in the branch’s 54th birthday and Día de los Niños celebration 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.on April 30.
The workshops, Conozca Su Comunidad, or “Know Your Community,” will be presented by network members and guest speakers, including Eamonn Roach of Roach & Bishop Law Offices and Eric Johnson, associate professor in bilingual education at Washington State University Tri-Cities.
