Learning the ropes at spring break horse camp in Pasco (w/video)

Camp instructor Kendreth Rexin helps Hank Harkins, 6, of Kennewick, twirl a rope during Tuesday’s fifth annual Kountry Kidz Spring Break Horse Camp about a mile north of Pasco on Road 68.

Camp instructor Kylee Shumway said about 40 children, ages 4 to 14, are taking part in the weeklong event designed to teach basic horsemanship and riding skills.
