CBC class aims to give women car maintenance confidence
Women can learn the fundamentals of vehicular maintenance, inspection and minor service at a free three-night event aimed at giving women confidence in owning and maintaining a vehicle.
The first 10 women to register will receive a free oil change. Registration is open to the first 20 females on a first-come first, serve basis. Girls must be 16 years of age or older. The workshop is free.
The Girls Engaged in Automotive Repair, or G.E.A.R., event is April 5-7 at Columbia Basin College in Pasco.
