Tri-Cities rock band Crashwurx helps test new Richland community outdoor stage
Tri-Cities rock band Crashwurx performs Monday to help commission the recently completed Hapo Community Stage in Richland’s John Dam Plaza.
The 2,350-square-foot outdoor facility will be able to entertain between 1,500 and 2,000 people, according to the city. Spectators will sit in a grass bowl around the stage for better viewpoints. The structure includes a dressing room and restroom for performers, storage area and electrical room.
A grand opening celebration is scheduled April 9.
