Walla Walla VA honoring 50th anniversary of Vietnam War on March 29

The Walla Walla VA along with VAs and agencies across the nation will honor men and women who served on active duty during the Vietnam War on March 29 during a 50th anniversary event.

Vietnam veterans and their families in attendance will receive a specially designed lapel pin, and there will be other materials available for veterans, families and the community.

An open house in the lobby of in Building 143 is from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers will be on site from 11 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. to visit with veterans.

Light refreshments will include cake and punch.
