Highs should hit 70s in Tri-Cities this week

The temperature in the Tri-Cities is forecast to hit the 70s under sunny skies by the end of the week.

Days should be about 10 degrees warmer than usual, according to the National Weather Service.

The high Monday will still be in the mid 50s, with some scattered afternoon showers possible.

But Tuesday and Wednesday the highs should be in the 60s and Thursday the high could be 70 degrees in the Tri-Cities, according to the National Weather Service.

The high Friday and Saturday could climb to 74 degrees, according to early forecasts. Sunday may not be quite as nice, with still sunny weather but highs back to the mid 60s.

Lows should be in the 40s starting Wednesday night, according to the weather service.
