The Franklin County Historical Society Museum will reopen following extensive renovations with a special open house 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 2 at 305 N. Fourth St., Pasco.

The society’s members will dress as famous historical characters. The event includes a scavenger hunt for children.

The current exhibit, “The Brides of Franklin County,” features historic wedding gowns and important facets of weddings over the past 150 years.

The museum is open noon to 4 p.m. Tuesdays to Fridays and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays. Call 509-547-3714 for information or an appointment. Admission is free.
