Driver loses control, crashes into Kennewick Burger King

Police say a driver speeding in a wet parking lot crashed into a Kennewick Burger King.

The crashed happened about 10:35 p.m. Monday at the fast food restaurant on 10th Avenue and Washington Street.

No injuries were reported.

The car crashed into the windows of the play structure inside the restaurant, shattering glass and causing extensive damage.

Police say the unidentified driver had recently got a license. It’s unclear if the person was cited.
