Sinkhole closes Kennewick street

A Kennewick street will be closed until Tuesday evening due to a sinkhole.

The hole is in a neighborhood in the area of 11th Place and Newport Street.

Police have blocked off the area with cones and closed down the road.

City workers were able to repair the damage. Officials expect the street to be reopened later tonight.
