George Pataki, ex-governor of New York, headlines Tri-Cities gathering

George Pataki, former governor of New York and one-time presidential candidate, will give the keynote speech at the 2016 ‘Solutions Summit’ policy converence.

The Washington Policy Center event will take place May 18 at the Three Rivers Convention Center in Kennewick.

the half-day summit will include sessions on education savings account, funding roads, health care reform, the impact of a state capital gains income tax, energy and water and more.

Other speakers include Rebecca Friedrichs, plaintiff in a forced unionization case recently argued before the U.S. Supreme Court, former Washington Attorney General Rob McKenna and Aubrey Bettencoourt of the California Water Alliance.
