Dog training classes begin March 22

The Columbia Basin Dog Training Club is offering eight-week classes beginning March 22.

Instruction includes canine good citizen, star puppy, manners for canines, beginning and novice obedience, and teamwork for disabled handlers wanting to train their own service dogs.

The classes cost $80 and are taught by experienced instructors at 524-c Railroad Drive in Richland, adjacent to Pets Over Population. For more information or to register, go to columbiabasindogtc.org or call 509-531-3942.

The club is a local nonprofit, AKC-recognized organization dedicated to promoting humane and positive training of dogs of all types and ages.
