Two free Saturdays coming up at Washington state parks

No Discover Pass will be needed at Washington state parks as the park system celebrates its 103rd birthday on March 19.

Another free day at Washington state parks will follow on March 26.

On most days a $30 annual Discover Pass or a $10 one-day permit is needed for vehicle access to state recreation lands managed by Washington State Parks, the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife and the Department of Natural Resources.
