UPDATE: I-84 in Oregon reopens after possible hazardous spill
Sections of Interstate 84 in Eastern Oregon were closed for hours Tuesday after a crash caused possible hazardous material to spill.
The eastbound lanes of the interstate shut down between Pendleton and Ontario, and west between Ontario and Baker City. They reopened about 10 p.m.
The westbound lanes reopened earlier in the afternoon.
Officials did not release what spilled or how many vehicles were involved in the crash. A photo released by the Oregon Department of Transportation showed at least two semitrucks had wrecked.
Crews that deal with hazardous material spills were on the scene.
Part of Highway 245 near Baker City and Highway 26 was also closed. For updates, go to TripCheck.com or call 800-977-6368.
