Bestselling author Kelli Estes to appear at Kennewick library

Bestselling author Kelli Estes will visit Mid-Columbia Libraries’ Kennewick branch at 7 p.m. March 15.

Estes, author of The Girl Who Wrote in Silk, grew up in Eastern Washington, according to a news release. Her book, about a Chinese American girl in the 1890s and another woman who later visits Orcas Island in Puget Sound, was listed as a bestseller by USA Today.

Estes’ visit is part of this year’s Mid-Columbia Lit Fest. The library is located at 1620 S. Union St.
