Extension director to speak at Rose Society meeting March 28

The Tri-City Rose Society will meet at 7 p.m. March 28 in West Richland.

Marianne Ophardt, the Benton County and Washington State University Extension director, will give a presentation called “A Retrospective: 40 Years of Horticulture.” Ophardt has been an extension agent since 1980, and is well known across the Columbia Basin for her role in the Master Gardener program.
