Benton Fire District 1 honors firefighters

Benton Fire District 1 honored several firefighters and employees at its annual awards banquet.

The following awards were given: Volunteer Officer of the Year, Manuel Estrella; Volunteer Firefighter of the Year, Kip Baum; Resident Firefighter of the Year, Kyle Jagelski; Support Services Member of the Year, Teah Schoenwald; and Salaried Employee of the Year Robert Moore.

Scott LoParco and Jeff Ripley were honored for their 25 years of service. Tome Cole was recognized for 30 years of service.
