Learn to identify Tri-City birds on walk
A bird walk on Bateman Island will leave from the Wye parking lot on Columbia Park Trail along the Columbia River at 8 a.m. March 5.
Expert birders from the Lower Columbia Basin Audubon Society will help participants learn to identify and listen for species that make their home in the Tri-Cities and those migrating through the area.
Participants can spend two to three hours on the walk or turn back early. Binoculars and good walking shoes are recommended.
