Hermiston resource center receives national recognition

The Good Shepherd Health Care System in Hermiston has received a Critical Access Hospital Recognition certificate.

The certificate was established by the National Rural Health Resource Center to recognize excellent work in critical access hospitals throughout the country. The recognition promotes excellence and innovation and honors the achievements and results of critical access hospitals, while also publicizing successful strategies.

Good Shepherd, a progressive nonprofit community health system, received the certificate for its progressive health care transformation and outstanding innovation in care coordination, according to a news release.
