NAMI Tri-Cities offering free presentation Feb. 25 in Richland

The Tri-Cities chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness is offering a free presentation for families, teachers, counselors and child care professionals on Feb. 25 in Richland.

The presentation, “Parents and Teachers as Allies,” will run from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Shilo Inn, 50 Comstock St.

The presentation is designed to help attendees “understand the signs and symptoms of emotional and behavioral difficulties that may be early warning signs of mental illness in children and adolescents,” a news release said.
