Presidents Day a preview of warm, windy Tri-City spring
Warm and windy weather should have Presidents Day feeling like spring in the Tri-Cities.
The National Weather Service is forecasting a high of 67 degrees, which is more than 15 degrees above normal, and sunny skies. But it would not feel like a Tri-City spring without a brisk breeze. Sustained wind speeds of 23 to 25 mph and gusts up to 36 mph are forecast.
Tuesday also should be warm with a high forecast of just more than 60 degrees. Highs should be in the mid to high 50s for the rest of the week. Normal highs for February are about 48 degrees.
