Richland High students deliver singing valentines

Nathalie Mereu, Richland High French teacher, crosses her arms over her chest Thursday morning as members of the school’s choral department deliver a singing Val-O-Gram.

Mereu purchased the fund-raising Valentine’s Day serenade for one of her morning classes.

About 70 choir members were taking part in the fundraiser to help the group pay for a trip to the Emerald City Sings Festival in Seattle later this year, said choral director Greg Fryhling.
