Richland talk to focus on Pope Francis’ letter on the environment

An overview of Laudato Si’, an encyclical written by Pope Francis, is planned from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Feb. 14 at Christ the King Catholic Church in Richland.

An encyclical is a letter written by a pope to Roman Catholic bishops. Laudato Si’ focuses on the environment.

Jessie Dye, program and outreach director for Earth Ministry in Seattle, will lead the overview. The public is invited.

Christ the King is at 1111 Stevens Drive.
