Pet adoption event set for Feb. 13 in Kennewick

A number of local and regional pet adoption and advocacy groups will have a pet adoption event at the Petsmart in Kennewick on Feb. 13.

The Super Pet Adoption Event, sponsored by Adopt Shelter Animal Pets of West Richland, will feature about 100 pets, including dogs, cats and rabbits, up for adoption from more than a dozen organizations. Students from Tri-Tech Skills Center and the Young Marines will also be volunteering at the event.

The event will be from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 6807 W. Canal Drive.
