If you’re looking for something a little closer to home that’s guaranteed to also have bacon, there is the Three Rivers Craft Brew & Bacon Festival on Feb. 20.

The second annual event is from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Three Rivers Convention Center in Kennewick’s entertainment and shopping district off Columbia Center Boulevard, 7016 W. Grandridge Blvd.

General admission is $30 if paid in advance and $35 at the door. That will get you a beer sampling glass and four tokens good for a beer sample each. Additional tokens are $1.50.

Local caterers and restaurants will provide bacon-inspired tastings to attendees. They can be bought at the box office at the neighboring Toyota Center or online through Ticketmaster.com.

VIP tickets also are available for $75 and come with eight sample tokens, a commemorative glass and T-shirt and early entrance to the festival.

And sorry, parents, but you’ll have to leave your kids at home. Only those 21 and older will be allowed at the event.
