Super Bowl Sunday shows reservations aren’t just for fine dining
Forget about worrying whether you have reservations for Valentine’s Day. Do you know where you plan to watch the Super Bowl on Feb. 7?
Though the Seattle Seahawks were knocked out of contention, many bars throughout the Tri-Cities are holding Super Bowl parties throughout the day to celebrate the big game between the Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers.
But a few places are requiring reservations in order to guarantee a seat. Uncle Sam’s Saloon on Gage Boulevard and the Sports Page in downtown Kennewick are charging $20 and $45 per person respectively for reservations, and staff says they are going fast.
Those reservations aren’t just for a stool at the bar or a table. The fee includes all of your food from a buffet for the afternoon. Sports Page’s fee also covers a customer’s beer and wine.
Uncle Sam’s also announced that it will have a designated driver available during game day. Both bars also will be doing prize drawings.
Towne Crier in the Uptown shopping district in Richland isn’t requiring any fee to reserve a seat, but customers should call ahead.
The bar will offer an all-you-can-eat nacho and taco bar for about $12. There will also be prize drawings for a trip to Las Vegas and a flat screen TV.
The Shammy Sports Bar on Fourth Avenue in Pasco will have the game on and is providing menu specials for game watchers.
