Benton City winery offers decadent Valentine’s dinner
If you are looking for somewhere to take your significant other to celebrate Valentine’s Day, a Benton City vineyard has a culinary experience that could win anyone’s heart.
Chandler Reach Estate Vineyards will have its Valentine’s Day celebration from 6 to 9 p.m. on Feb. 13.
The five-course meal starts with a beef tartare and parmesan crostini appetizer and a beet and celery root soup. That’s followed by butternut squash ravioli with brandy tarragon creme and a choice of entree between dijon herb-encrusted rack of lamb, a filet of halibut or oven-roasted duck breast.
Dessert is a Mayan chocolate pyramid with espresso creme anglais. Each course, except dessert, comes with a wine pairing from the vineyard.
The meal will set you back at bit, with reservations ranging from $60 to $70 per person with the lower cost going to members of the vineyard’s Villa Club. Prices do not cover tax or gratuity.
