Hwy 240 crash in Richland injures two
Two people were injured in a three-car collision Monday morning on Highway 240 in Richland.
The crash happened about 10:40 a.m. near Aaron Drive.
Sarah C. Clark, 37, was driving a Kia Optima east on the highway when she crashed into the back of a van stopped at a red light, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Troopers say the van then struck a pickup truck.
The drivers of the van and pickup — Gregorio A. Benitez-Villanueva, 27, and Michael A. Callian, 30 — were taken to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland.
Clark, who was not injured, was cited for negligent driving, troopers said.
