Kennewick woman hurt in wreck near Sunnyside

A 30-year-old Kennewick woman was hurt Sunday morning when her car rolled on Interstate 82 about a mile east of Sunnyside.

Chaylynn D. McPherson was taken to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland, where she was treated and later released.

She was driving a 1999 Ford Contour west on the highway about 7 a.m. when she lost control, the Washington State Patrol reported. The Contour rolled and landed on the shoulder, troopers said.

Drugs and alcohol weren’t involved, they said.

Troopers are recommending second-degree negligent driving charges.
