Police: Woman suffering from medical issue drives wrong way on Pasco interstate
A confused woman suffering from a medical condition was flown to a Seattle hospital Jan. 22 after driving the wrong way on Interstate 182 in Pasco, police said.
Police had to use a pit maneuver to stop the sport utility vehicle the unidentified woman was driving. Police received several calls about the vehicle almost causing collisions on the freeway.
The woman caused no crashes and no one was injured during the incident.
She drove west in the eastbound lanes for several miles before police were able to stop the vehicle. The incident was caught on dash cam video.
Police say the woman was taken to Harborview Medical Center for a “serious medical issue.”
