Edison widening project expected to disrupt traffic

Work to widen a portion of Edison Street promises to disrupt traffic during construction, which begins Feb. 1.

The project to widen Edison will result in long-term lane closures between Clearwater Avenue and Canal Drive, continuing until August. The project will install street lights, curbs, gutters, sidewalks, two pedestrian crossings and other upgrades.

Access will be maintained to local business and apartments.
