Prosser man hurt in single-car crash

Troopers say a Prosser man speeding on Highway 22 lost control of a pickup truck and crashed into an embankment.

Rene O. Perez, 34, was driving east on the highway in Prosser about 8:30 a.m. Monday when the crash occurred.

The F-150 truck went off the road, crossed the westbound lane and struck the embankment, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Perez was taken to PMH Medical Center in Prosser to be treated for injuries.

Troopers say Perez was cited for speeding.
