Burning smell briefly clears Richland City Hall
Richland City Hall workers briefly evacuated the building Friday morning when a burning smell spread in the building.
Spokeswoman Hollie Logan said staff noticed the smell about 11 a.m. and cleared the building, 505 Swift Blvd. The smell was traced to a malfunctioning blower being worked on by maintenance crews.
The Richland Fire Department inspected the building and declared it clear about 15 minutes later, she said.
