Expect a rainy week in the Tri-Cities, according to the National Weather Service.

The same storm system will bring snow to the the Cascade Mountains and the Blue Mountains. Expect slowed travel times, the weather service says.

A 50 percent chance of rain is forecast Tuesday in the Tri-Cities, increasing to 60 percent Tuesday night. Wednesday the chance of rain drops to 20 percent in the evening, with some sunshine possible during the day.

Tuesday night could be breezy with gusts up to 30 mph. Breezy conditions may continue into Wednesday.

A chance of rain is forecast for the remainder of the week in the Tri-Cities, with possibly dry weather on Sunday.

Temperatures should be a little above normal for the week, with highs in the mid 40s and lows in the mid 30s.
