Winter carnival coming to Chiawana High
Pasco School District’s Winter Carnival will be at Chiawana High School on Jan. 21.
The event will include giveaways and prizes handed out from the district’s PEAK! partners, a release said. Leadership students from all three of the district’s middle schools will play host to carnival games for children.
Food will be available for purchase from food trucks regularly seen at Food Truck Friday at the Pasco Farmers Market. Offerings include hot dogs and sandwiches to kettle corn and donuts.
Admission is free, but nonperishable food items will be accepted for donations to Second Harvest. The event will run from 6 to 8 p.m.
