Environmental fair, films planned on Pasco campus
A free environmental fair is planned 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Jan. 16 at the showing of two movies at the Bechtel National Planetarium at Columbia Basin College in Pasco.
About a dozen exhibitors are expected, including the Alliance for Livable and Sustainable Community, the Sustainable Living Center and Citizen’s Climate Lobby.
Ticket prices for each of the 24-minute movies range from $3 for children to $6 for ages 13 to 59. Double feature tickets are discounted.
Dynamic Earth, which explores the inner workings of Earth’s climate system, begins at 2 p.m. and Oasis in Space, which takes viewers on a voyage through the universe in search of water, begins at 3 p.m.
