Rollover crash injures Richland man

A Richland man was injured Thursday morning in a single-car rollover crash east of Zillah in Yakima County.

Derek T. Spencer, 33, was headed west on Interstate 82 when he lost control of a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck and rolled into a median, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Spencer was taken to Toppenish Community Hospital following the crash about 7:35 a.m. His condition was not immediately available.

Troopers say speed caused the crash. Spencer was wearing a seat belt.
