Kadlec announces most popular baby names for 2015

If you had a baby girl at Kadlec Regional Medical Center last year and named her Sophia or Sofia, you’re in good company.

The name topped the list of the most popular monikers for girls born at the Richland hospital in 2015.

For boys, Wyatt and Julian tied for most popular.

More than 2,700 babies were born at the hospital in 2015.

Here’s the most popular name breakdown:

Girls: Sophia/Sofia, 24; Isabella, 16; Emily, 15; Mia, 13; Abigail, 12; Madison and Arianna, 10; Amelia, Camila and Charlotte, 9; and Alexa, Elizabeth, Hadley, Harper, Natalie and Paisley tied with 8.

Boys: Wyatt and Julian,16; Benjamin and Sebastian,14; Aiden and Liam, 13; David and Dylan, 12; Angel, Ethan, Mateo and Samuel, 11; and Alexander, Lincoln and Noah tied with 10.
