Two people were injured Monday morning when two cars collided in slick conditions on Highway 24 several miles south of the Vernita Bridge.
Brittney L. Reichert, 27, of Pasco, was driving east on the highway, lost control of her Chevrolet Cobalt , crossed the centerline and collided with an oncoming Dodge Ram pickup driven by Kenneth L. Webster, 68, of Monroe, said the Washington State Patrol.
Reichert was taken to Kadlec Regional Medical Center. Webster suffered minor injuries. Reichert was cited for driving too fast for road conditions.
