New citizenship classes begin Jan. 5

Free classes for those interested in obtaining U.S. citizenship will begin Jan. 5 at West Side Church, 603 Wright Ave., Richland.

Classes are held Tuesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Enrollment is open until Jan. 19 or until the class is full. Students must have basic English reading, writing and speaking skills to participate.

Six levels of English language training are also offered. Students should bring paper and pen.

Free child care is available for children from six months through elementary age.
