Pasco firefighters removed a man from a truck after it crashed late Tuesday night into one of the pillars holding up the Sylvester Street bridge over Highway 395.

The crash was in the southbound lanes of the highway, according to Pasco police. The Washington State Patrol and the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office also assisted.

The name of the driver and his status were not immediately available.
