Snow, then colder weather in Tri-City forecast
More snow could fall in the Tri-Cities Sunday night and Monday, according to the National Weather Service.
It predicts 50 percent chance of snow overnight Sunday and a 40 percent chance of snow Monday. Less than an inch of snow is expected on the ground.
A slight chance of snow is predicted again Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.
Highs should continue to be near or a little below freezing through Wednesday, with colder weather by the time 2016 begins.
Early predictions are for highs of about 23 to 24 degrees Thursday through Saturday and lows falling into the teens the night of New Year’s Eve and Friday night.
