Pasco woman injured in two-car wreck

A Pasco woman was injured in a two-car wreck Wednesday morning on Highway 260 just west of Connell.

Efrain Huerta-Mundo, 41, was turning left on the highway when he crashed a pickup truck into a Nissan Altima driven by Estela Medina-Gutierrez, 39, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Medina-Gutierrez was taken to Lourdes Medical Center in Pasco following the crash about 9 a.m. at milepost 2.

Troopers say Huerta-Mundo was at fault and the Burlington man was cited for an unsafe lane change.
